Junior Room School Tour to Turoe Pet FarmOn Wednesday the boys and girls from the Junior Room went on their first school tour ever!!! We went to Turoe Pet Farm! No one could contain their excitement which started the minute we got on the bus. On the journey to the pet farm we passed the local bog, some wind turbines and lots of hills and roads!!! The catchphrase "Are we there yet?" was heard every few minutes!!!! When we arrived at the farm we had a bit to eat and got ready to go see the animals. But before that the children got to let off some steam in the playground!!!! The children had so much fun meeting the animals, feeding the animals and asking lots of questions. We saw ducks, rabbits, llamas, goats, sheep and chickens. We were very disappointed that the crocodile was sleeping when we got to him. To top off a super day, the children got to go on a enormous bouncing castle where there was a big slide, things to jump and climb on and loads of other fun activities to do! Turoe Pet Farm was a big ht with the children and they enjoyed every single moment of it! Have a look through the photos of the day and check out some videos of the day. The children in the Junior Room have been learning about the beat in music the past few weeks. We have been listening to lots of songs and learning about different ways we can feel the beat in music - from dancing to clapping to jumping!!! I think the boys and girls will be selling out concerts in the future!!! |
