Cumann na mBunscol Medal Presentation

It was a busy year in the school for sport in our Autumn and Summer Cumman na mBunscol competitions in both football and hurling. The school has performed so well in both competitions the last number of years and this year we won both the football and hurling competitions. A massive thank you to Ms. Flynn for all her hard work in training the team and organising matches. Also, a thank you to Ms. Gath who also gave a massive help during the hurling this year. 

While taking a break form our Sports Day, Offaly Leinster Minor Footballer Tomas Carrol and past pupil came back to the school to hand out the football and hurling medals to the children in the senior room. It was great to have Tomas back, while came on his lunch break from work which was very much appreciated. It is great to see a past pupil doing so well in GAA. Obviously Coolanarney championed him and gave him his football start!!!
