A Visit From the Ambulance Service

Two representatives from the Ambulance Service visited our school on Mon 19th of June. The purpose of the visit was to familiarise the children with the ambulance, the equipment in it and the job of an ambulance worker so that if ever the children have need of an ambulance, the experience may be a little less daunting for them. 
Each classroom took turns going out to learn about and explore the ambulance and it meant they all had a chance to see and sometimes use or handle the equipment. 
The two ladies were extremely friendly and informative and we would like to thank them for coming and allowing the children to have this valuable experience. ​
