Easter Lenten Fundraiser

Today we had our big Easter draw rounding out our Lenten Fundraiser. A big thank you to everyone who supported these past few weeks and especially to the boys and girls in 6th Class who took charge of the organisation of the fundraiser. €1,160 was raised this year which is a wonderful achievement for a small school. All the pupils in 4th, 5th and 6th class have decided that the funds will be split between the Irish Cancer Society, sponsorship of two students in the Franciscan Brother's school in Molo, Kenya and the Ashling Murphy Memorial Trust Fund, a cause which is close the our hearts here in Coolanarney N.S.
