School GardenThe school is this year participating in the Tullamore Credit Union Pride of Place Competition and has commenced the establishment of a small school garden. Pupils in all classes have been involved in organising planting areas, planting seeds and shrubs, watering and caring for new growth. Infants have sown sunflowers, to take home in June, and nasturtiums for the school garden beds. Middle and senior classes have set up and readied raised planting beds and planted potatoes, onions, lettuce, carrots and peas. 6th class have also been busy digging and preparing beds and planting shrubs and plants.
