Robotics

We are all very excited about the VEX Robotics competition this year. 
This year the game is titled "Slapshot" and we have to build a robot to gather orange discs and shoot them into the scoring zone (you can see the game in the video attached). We have been discussing the game and what we would like to do to do well in the competition this year. We have been looking at some robots and getting some ideas. We began construction on the area, building the towers where the discs will be stored, to be released by the robot. 
The competition is still run by the Offaly County Council and is bigger this year. 65 primary schools are participating this year.
